Function and Application of Deflazacort
1.Pharmaceutical raw materials, the third generation of corticosteroids, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergy, increased gluconeogenesis and so on; for primary and secondary adrenocortical insufficiency, rheumatism, collagen diseases, skin diseases, allergic disease, eye disease, fulminant and disseminated tuberculosis, hematopoietic system disorders, etc.
2.Deflazacort is a glucocorticoid used as an anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressant. Deflazacort is an inactive prodrug which is metabolized rapidly to the active drug 21-desacetyldeflazacort. Its potency is around 70–90% that of prednisone.
