The main pharmacological effect of buflomedil is to inhibit α-adrenergic receptors, inhibit platelet aggregation, enhance erythrocyte deformability, nonspecific calcium antagonism and enhance the use of oxygen, thereby improving ischemic tissue nutrient flow.
