Properties: it is white or yellow powder or tiny particles. It has a little special smell of peptone. After mixing with water, it expands and shows melicera emulsion.

Main specification: it is considered as dry goods. The total nitrogen (N) should not be grater than 10.0%. The reducing substances content should be no less than 20.0% and viscosity no less than 3.0. Loss on drying should be no more than 6.0% and residue on ignition should not exceed 5.0%.

Function and usage: it is used for ulcer disease drugs for the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers.
